"Hello everybody, I'm top Radio 1 DJ Steve Lamacq. No, really I am. See. That's a photo of me there on the left, although thankfully I have lost a lot of weight since that picture was taken. But enough about me, I'm here to welcome you to this unimaginatively titled VyVyan site.

"I still remember the first time I heard VyVyan. I was sitting at home, routing through the Evening Session Demo Mountain when it all suddenly crashed down on top of me and I fell into a coma for a few days. When I came round, I discovered their demo imbedded into my skull and, taking that as a good omen, I put into the machine and listened to it. I wasn't disappointed.

"Maybe it was the head injuries but I realised immediately that VyVyan were the greatest band I'd ever heard. Yes even better than 21st Century Girls, they were that good. The girls obviously had balls. Well. Not actual balls, that would be weird. Or uncomfortable at any rate. Unless it was tennis balls they had, or something like that. I'm confused. Please come back Jo. I need you to help me out. I can't cope on my own. I came into work without my trousers on yesterday you know. Please Jo, it's all so very lonely here by myself. Sob."

Umm... thanks for that Steve. He may not be the best intro writer in the world, but he is content to be paid in peanuts. Literally. Which is great! That means that more money can be channelled into the high quality items on this site. Yeah, right. Like that's gonna happen. Anyway, here's all the exciting things that's on the site.
