Jackie is the local barman, a jolly character with a penchant for sticking his foot in it. When Andy is trying to pick up a young lady, Jackie invariably says something to make Andy look silly. They are friends from way back, after all Andy has been his number one customer for years.
Jackie usually has a tough job getting rid of Andy at closing time, and more often than not has to physically eject him.
